Terms and Conditions
Booking
All confirmation of bookings requires a booking form and a deposit of £50. Bookings are not confirmed until this has been received. This deposit is non-refundable.
The balance must be paid in advance of the party.
Adults
Parents of the birthday child are very welcome to stay on the bus during the party, although this isn’t necessary as your party host will be there to supervise and run everything.
To help us make the most of the space, we ask that other parents/carers drop off and return at the end of the party.
If a child has any additional needs that mean an adult should stay, please do get in touch with us in advance so we can plan accordingly.
For Splatter Bus parties, if your group is a mix of 5/6 year olds, we ask that one adult stays on board for the first 15 minutes to help with getting splatter outfits on and making sure everyone is settled. Depending on the group, we may ask that this adult remains on board for the duration of the party (don’t worry — we have adult-size jackets too!).
Number of Guests
Due to space and equipment limitations, all parties have a strict maximum number of guests. The maximum for your chosen activity can be found in your digital invite email or on the relevant activity page on our website
If additional guests arrive on the day above this max limit, we may not be able to accommodate them. Where we are able to do so, this will incur a charge of double the standard per-child rate.
Parking
The Craft’d Bus is 7m long so requires the equivalent of 2 parking spaces on a flat surface. We can park on a drive or on side roads as long as we are not blocking any traffic. If the party is not held at your home, we strongly advise you to save the space for us prior to our arrival.
The Craft’d Bus is 2.4m wide and just under 3m tall. Have a look at the photos below to help you visualise it (this is our original bus but the dimensions are the same).
If applicable, please measure up the entrance to your drive/gate first - as long as it is 2.6m wide or larger then we should be fine. If in doubt, please do check in advance as the road you are on can make a difference to how easily we can manouever in (if you are on a very narrow lane or on a busy road etc)
If on arrival we find the venue to be unsuitable for any reason we reserve the right to abort the session without compensation. If in doubt, please do get in touch and we can arrange a site visit if needed.
We will require access to mains electricity. We have a 30m hook up cable that we can use to plug into any socket in your home.
There is no toilet on board, so please consider this if you need to use another venue other than your home.
On the day logistics
We aim to arrive 30 minutes prior to the party to set up and will send you a message via WhatsApp when we leave to keep you updated on the journey progress.
Once we arrive, we will hook up to the electricity and begin setting up the activity. Please ensure children don't board during this time, we know it is very exciting but it will be much more so when everything is set up and ready for them!!
Although we will endeavour to arrive at the time booked we cannot be held responsible for events such as traffic hold ups. We will in the event of late arrival do our best to continue the session until the correct amount of time has elapsed.
If the bus is unable to attend your booking due to mechanical breakdown, adverse weather conditions or illness of the Craft’d team, a refund of all money already paid will be due. You may rearrange the party at another time for a 50% reduced price if this is desired.
If it is not possible for the bus to attend on the day of the party, but we still have staff available, we can run the party in your home or venue. This would be at a 30% reduced price.
